Specialty Care Indigent Healthcare Roof Replacement

The Polk County Facilities Management Division is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, material, permitting, and supervision required to remove the existing waterproofing and roof systems and replace the roof systems and protection specified with insulation of Duro-Last roof system.

Polk County anticipates awarding an estimated amount of $1,060,000.00; 100% funded through the Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Program. Interested bidders are invited to a MANDATORY pre-bid to be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the Specialty Care/Indigent Healthcare Building, located at 2135 Marshall Edwards Drive, Bartow, FL 33830. A MANDATORY site visit will immediately follow. An authorized representative or agent of the Bidder must be present at this meeting, as evidenced by their signature on the meetings sign-in sheet, or the Bidders Submittal will be considered non-responsive. Bid packages may be obtained from the Procurement Division, 330 West Church Street, Room 150, Bartow, Florida, 33830, (863) 534-6757 or downloaded from our FTP site. Bids must be submitted in a sealed parcel or may be submitted electronically. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 p.m. on receiving date. Completed bids will be due at the Procurement Division prior to 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
