THE MARION COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS proposes to change the use of
land within the unincorporated area of Marion County as shown in the map in this
advertisement.
A public hearing was conducted by the Marion County Planning & Zoning Commission
on April 25, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., and a transmittal public hearing was conducted
by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners on May 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
A series of adoption public hearings were conducted and continued to subsequent
dates by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners on July 19, 2022, at
2:00 p.m., August 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., December 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., and
September 6, 2023, wherein the Marion County Board of County Commissioners once
again continued the adoption public hearing to December 5, 2023, to consider
Large-Scale Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment No. 2022-L05.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA;
ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING LARGE- SCALE AMENDMENT TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP SERIES
OF THE MARION COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN:
An adoption public hearing will be conducted by the Marion County Board of
County Commissioners on December 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at the McPherson
Governmental Campus Auditorium, 601 SE 25th Avenue, Ocala, Florida, 34471, to
consider Large-Scale Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment No.
2022-L05.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS may appear at this public hearing and be heard regarding
the proposed amendment to the Comprehensive Plan.
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR
