Ashley, Suite 400 Tampa, FL 33602 The building is being constructed as a career center for the school board for instruction of welding, construction/carpentry, HVAC, Electrical and general classroom learning. Additionally, the building includes an office/admin area for school staff. The structural system will include a complete precast concrete framing system. The precast building system will bear on a cast-in-place concrete shallow foundation with a 4" slab on grade. Interior architectural items include standard drywall partitions w/ ceilings/soffits, standard school floor finishes, acoustical ceilings, toilet accessories, markerboards, fire extinguishers, and other specialties. The building will include a complete wet pipe fire sprinkler system. The HVAC system will be a chilled water system with air-cooled chillers. Other HVAC equipment will be air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan coil units. Specialty learning shops will include a specialized ventilation and exhaust system. Building automation systems will control temperature settings for the system. Plumbing work will include a domestic water system, storm, sanitary, pumps, fixtures and compressed air in labs. The electrical system will be fed from a transformer set by the utility and a ductbank installed into the building's gear system. Other electrical feature include parking lot lighting, interior LED lighting, branch power, fire alarm, lightning protection system and low voltage systems.
