REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR DESIGN BUILD CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

NOTICE is hereby given that Port Charlotte United Methodist Church of Port Charlotte, Inc. is soliciting responses for design build services at 21075 Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte Florida 33952.

Each proposal will meet all submission requirements and will be independently evaluated and assigned a score for each evaluation criteria up to the maximum points. The points are weighted by their importance to the organization needs. The offeror must submit evidence to document meeting the criteria. The Criteria is as follows: FACTOR 1: PRICE (35 points), Experience and Technical Competence (15 points), FACTOR 3: Financial Capacity (20 points), FACTOR 4 Capacity and Management Structure (20 points), and FACTOR 5 Schedule (10 points). The Contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be administered by the Client as it is a project under the FEMA Public Assistance Program. The anticipated contract will provide for a full range of services consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements and Federal construction requirements.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 234100. This announcement is open to all businesses regardless of size, additional consideration will be given to certified Federal Small Businesses. Firms must be capable of responding to and working immediately on the project. The bid documents will only be made available in electronic format. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed.

A bid bond is required.. A payment and performance bond will be required after selection from the winning bidder for the bonded scope of work contract.

Requests for RFP documents shall be submitted by email before 1:00 pm of 5 March 2024 to Bob Carpenter at bobcarpenter@bcpeabody.com.

Mandatory Pre-Bid conference and site visit will occur on Wednesday 6 March at 1:00 PM..

DEADLINE: All proposals must be electronically received before 4:00pm on 5 April 2024. Any RFP delivered after the deadline will not be considered. The Church reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

Port Charlotte United Methodist Church reserves the right to award the contract to the proposal that provides the best value according to the evaluation and also reserves their right to cancel the request for proposal process, without any penalty.
