The applicant’s responsible official andmailing address is: Mr. Michael Moore, Sr. District Manager, Waste Management Inc. of Florida, Medley Landfill, 9350NW 89 Avenue, Medley, Florida 33178.Facility Location: Waste Management Inc. of Florida operates the existing Medley Landfill, which is located in Miami-Dade County at 9350 NW 89 Avenue, in Medley, Florida.Project: The existing Medley Landfill consists of an open Class I MSW Landfill Emissions Unit (EU-002), one (1) openflare No. 1 (EU-001), one (1) enclosed flare No. 3 (EU-005), one (1) backup utility flare No. 4 (EU-014), one (1) enclosedflare No. 6 (EU-016), and two (2) emergency diesel engine-electrical generators (EUs-013, and 017).On November 20, 2023, the RER received a permit application from Waste Management Inc. of Florida for an airconstruction permit, and to renew the facility’s Title V air operation permit. The project would alsoincorporate the terms and conditions of concurrently processed permit No. 0250615-028-AC into the renewed Title V airoperation permit (0250615-029-AV).The application is under review by the RER to determine if it is complete.
