CALL FOR BIDS

The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from General and Building Contractors for the new construction of the Maltby Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds, located at 118 Fairgrounds Road, East Palatka, FL 32131.

Base Bid:

The work shall consist of but is not limited to the construction of a new building that calls for a 70 X 120 area (560 person capacity) to be dedicated to an assembly meeting space.

Deadline for receipt of sealed bids has been set for 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 22, 2024. Send, or deliver in person, 1 original, 1 copy, and 1 electronic copy (USB drive) of the sealed bids to Putnam County Procurement Department, 2509 Crill Ave, Suite 200, Palatka, FL 32177. Only sealed bids received on, or before, the aforestated time and date will be considered.

Vendor must indicate the Bid Number and Description of Bid on the outside of the envelope (package).

This project is funded through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Administration State Financial Assistance Recipient Agreement.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 25, 2024, at the Putnam County Government Complex, located at 2509 Crill Avenue, Suite 200, Palatka, Florida 32177.

The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Putnam County complies with all federal statutes relating to non-discrimination. Putnam County is an equal opportunity employer.
