NOTICE OF APPLICATION

The Department of Environmental Protection announces receipt of an application for permit from SLD Landfill, Inc. to vertically expand the SLD Recycling and Disposal Facility. The proposed project is at latitude 26 4710 N, longitude 81 56 45 W, at 30199 Zemel Road, Punta Gorda,

Florida 33955 in Charlotte County. The Department has assigned permit file number 246176- 013-SO to the proposed project.

This application is being processed and is available for public inspection during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, at the Departments South District Office, 2295 Victoria Ave, Suite 364, Ft. Myers, Florida 33901-3875, at phone number (239)344-5600. Any comments or objections should be filed in writing with the Department at this address. Comments or objections should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure that there is adequate time for them to be considered in the Departments decision on the application.
