PUBLIC NOTICE THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE IS OPENING THE WAITING LIST FOR NORTHWEST GARDENS II, AN ELDERLY DESIGNATED PROJECT BASED DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT (1204 NW 8 th STREET, FT LAUDERDALE, FL 33311) Preliminary applications must be completed online beginning Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM. The applications will be closed after 100 one-bedroom and 75 two-bedroom eligible applications have been received. To be eligible to be placed on the waiting list, the family composition MUST have a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of two (2) members for the one bedroom, and a minimum of (2) and maximum of (4) persons for the two bedrooms. The Head of the Household MUST be 62 years of age or older. The total household annual gross income must not exceed the very-low income limits for the appropriate family size as listed in the Income Limits Table appearing at the end of this Public Notice.
