ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENT

TO CONTRACT FOR

ARCHITECTURAL LED PROGRAMMING,

DESIGN ANDADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES FOR

LEE HEALTH, SPECIALIZED CLINICAL OUTPATIENT SERVICES PROJECT,

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA

Lee Health is requesting submission of qualifications from architectural consulting firms under the provisions of the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.056, Florida Statutes, relating to Lee Health Specialized Clinical Outpatient Services Project located at 2501 SW 3rd Avenue, Cape Coral, Fla (Facility Site). The services sought consist of all architectural, interior design, furniture, equipment procurement, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, building commissioning, and electrical engineering services needed for the programming, design and contract administration of the proposed project. Firms qualified to submit for the project shall consist of architectural firms licensed to engage in the practice of architecture under the provisions of Section 481.219, Florida Statutes. All supporting design consultants will contract with and work under the direction of the architect and must be licensed appropriately. The contractual agreement to be entered into with Lee Health is an Architectural Services Agreement established for the Project.

Qualified architects are invited to notify Lee Health of their interest in the project. A Request for Qualifications and Statement of Qualifications and Performance Data Form (''Request for Qualifications Form") can be obtained from the Lee Health Facilities Management Department by writing to Kent Ley, AIA, ACHA System Director of Planning and Design, Lee Health Corporate Center 4211 Metro Pkwy. Suite 200 Fort Myers, FL 33916 or emailing him at: kent.ley@leehealth.org.

All interested architectural firms must complete the Request for Qualifications and return the same to Lee Healths Facility Planning and Design Office located at 4211 Metro Pkwy. Suite 200 Fort Myers, FL 33916 by Noon EST on Monday, October 28th, 2024 in order to be considered for the project. Please note: Any request for clarifications regarding the Request for Qualifications, must be made by Noon on Monday, October 21st, 2024 Any interested architectural firm not fully completing a Request for Qualifications will not be considered for the project.

The Request for Qualifications will be utilized to prequalify, select and short list no fewer than three

(3) architectural firms as the most qualified based on the following criteria: ability of personnel, ability to meet time and budget requirements, previous performance and references, recent experience in clinical lab & data center projects, geographical location of the firm, experience with building information modeling (BIM) software, ability to respond to Lee Health in a timely manner, demonstrated approach to similar projects and current project workloads.

Lee Health reserves the right to reject, in its sole discretion, any and all submittals.
