TOWN OF LAKE PLACID NORTH MAIN STREET LIFT STATION MODIFICATIONS

The Town of Lake Placid, Florida, is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, management, administration, supervision, insurance coverage, and any other facilities and services necessary to successfully construct, start-up, and warranty the completed Project (TOWN OF LAKE PLACID NORTH MAIN STREET LIFT STATION MODIFICATIONS). The Project is generally described as construction modifications to an existing lift station to include another tank, pumps, control panel, electrical and piping modifications, adding a permanent standby generator and corresponding instrumentation and controls.

INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMITTING ORGANIZATIONS:

A complete Bid Package, which contains all necessary information, may be obtained via download FROM the Towns Bidnet site.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for all bidders will be held at Town of Lake Placid Government Center located at 1069 US Highway 27, Lake Placid, FL 33852 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 10:00 am local time. The purpose of this meeting is to review the scope of work and completion schedule for this Project, to answer questions, and to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the work that must be performed and completion deadlines to successfully complete this entire project. Bidders are responsible for checking Bidnet site for communications including any bid addenda. All bid questions must be received prior to Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 5:00 pm local time to Towns engineer

All bids must be in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside with "TOWN OF LAKE PLACID NORTH MAIN STREET LIFT STATION MODIFICATIONS. Bids shall be submitted together with any and all supporting documentation enclosed. Bids will be received at Town of Lake Placid Government Center located at 1069 US Highway 27 N, Lake Placid, FL 33852 ATTENTION: Kevin McCarthy until 2:00 pm local time on Monday, December 2, 2024. Submittals may be either mailed or hand-delivered prior to the above deadline. Postmarks will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2024. It is the responsibility of the bidder to assure that bids are received at Town of Lake Placid Government Center no later than the specified time and date. Submittals received after this date and time will not be accepted or considered.

The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any bids in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the bid which best serves the interests of the Town. Pursuant to the requirements of Section 287, Florida Statutes, all qualifiers are subject to those provisions pertaining to Public Entity Crimes and the Convicted Vendor List.

Further, pursuant to federal law the Owner may not award this contract to any bidder which is debarred or suspended or is otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in federal assistance programs under Executive Order 12549, Debarment and Suspension.
