NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY FOR THE CITY OF KEY WEST HOMEBUYERS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM PURSUANT TO THE REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF KEY WEST CODE OF ORDINANCE SECTION 2-708 AND APPROVED LOCAL HOUSING ASSITANCE PLAN

The City of Key West Community Development Office is announcing the availability of program funding in the amount of $560,000 for the Homebuyers Assistance Program. Funds are available through September 30, 2025 or until funds are exhausted.

The City of Key West Homebuyers Assistance Program purpose is to meet the housing needs of workforce households and to expand production of and preserve affordable housing. Funding from this program is used to provide income eligible homebuyers a second mortgage loan up to $20,000 to be used as down payment assistance when buying a home.

Applicants and properties must meet all applicable rules and regulations in the City of Key West Local Housing Assistance Plan and funding source eligibility requirements.

Applications will be accepted 30 days after the published date of this notification. Applications can be picked up at City Hall 1300 White Street, Key West, FL 33040, weekdays 8am -5pm, or can be requested via e-mail to HousingKW@cityofkeywest-fl.gov.
