Thornton Construction Company, Inc. requests all interested bidders to pre-qualify with Thornton Construction for participation in the New Hoffman Apartments Phase 1 & 2 bid process. All subcontractors must pre-qualified to be deemed responsible to bid. Potential bidders not yet prequalified are requested to complete the online prequalification form in our website, www.thornton-inc.com/subcontractors/.

Thornton Construction is requesting sealed bid proposals for the above-mentioned project. The project scope of work consists of the construction of two identical 4-story apartment buildings, identified as Building A & Building B, and the construction of apartment Building C a 5-story structure. Additional scope of work includes full site development, & improvements.

Thornton Construction Company, Inc. is committed to affirmatively ensuring the award of construction subcontracts to State of Florida Minority Business Enterprises. The established contract goal to be met for MBE participation is 15% for this project.

Prebid Meeting & Site Walkthrough: December 12, 2024 starting 9AM. Meeting location will be 987 West 75th Street, Hialeah, FL 33014. Site Visit will be done immediately after the meeting.

Phase 1 location: 990 W 77 Street, Hialeah, FL 33014

Phase 2 location: 7650 W 8th Avenue, Hialeah, FL 33014

Bid Due: January 7th, 2025, no later than 11AM.
