Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board Meeting and Public Meetings for the amendment of the MPOs
FY 2024-2025 to FY 2028-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a federally required document that all Metropolitan Planning Organizations develop annually and represents the transportation improvements that have been programmed for the five-year period. This TIP includes the Federal Transit Administrations (FTA) Program of Projects (POP) for Sections 5307, 5310, 5311 and 5339 Funding awarded to Charlotte County. The development of the TIP satisfies the federal public participation requirements for the POP. The following amendments are required:
1. FPID# 446340-2 adding construction funds in FY 2025 for SR 766/El Jobean Road at Flamingo Blvd;
2. FPID# 410119-1 Funds were Allocated to the State in FFY 24 and were programmed in SFY 25 for Charlotte County Transit FTA Section 5311 operating assistance; and 3) FPID# 410138-1- Funds were Allocated to the State in FFY 24 and were programmed in SFY 25 for Charlotte County State Transit Block Grant Operating assistance.

The documents will be available for public review at all Public Library locations throughout Charlotte County and the MPO website www.ccpgmpo.gov
Comments can be made by contacting the MPO at the address or using the comment box on the website.
The public review period will remain open for comments until the December 16, 2024 MPO Board Meeting/Public Meetings.
No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of these meetings. Accordingly, anyone seeking to appeal any decisions involving the matters herein will be responsible for making a verbatim record of the meeting/testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be based. The MPOs planning process is conducted in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes.
