The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District) announces the following public meeting to which all interested persons are invited:
The District will be providing an overview of the hydrologic conditions at the end of the summer rainy season (June-September), Hurricane Milton rainfall, the Alafia River Watershed, and how the District operated the Medard Reservoir before, during and after Hurricane Milton. The meeting will begin with an open house, where attendees can visit stations and speak with District or partner organizations staff about related topics. This will be followed by presentations from District staff and then there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions or give comments.
The meeting agenda is as follows:
