NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN FOR
LAKEFRONT ESTATES PHASE 1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT in Glades County, Florida, a public hearing will be held before the Glades County Planning and Zoning Board (a/k/a the County Planning Commissioner and/or the Land Use and Construction Oversight Commission) on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 5:15 PM, or as soon as the matters may be heard. This hearing will be held at the Glades County Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Glades County Courthouse, 500 Avenue J, Moore Haven, and Florida 33471.
The purpose of the public hearing is to approve or deny a proposed site plan for Lakefront Estates Planned Development, Phase 1. The property is approximately 545 acres, and is located south of Buckhead Ridge. The Property ID numbers are for A04-39-34-A00- 0060-0000, A03-39-34-A00-0010-0000, A34-38-34-A00-0030-0000, A02-39- 34-A00-0010-0000 and A35-38-34-A00-0060-0000. The property owner is Okeechobee Community Developers, LLC.
A copy of this notice is on file at the Glades County Clerk of Courts Office, 500 Avenue J, Moore Haven, Florida, 33471. Normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays. The proposed site plan for Phase 1, is available for review at the Glades County Community Development Department, 198 6th Street SW, Moore Haven, Florida, 33471, between the hours of 8 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE GLADES COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING, THAT PERSON WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND HE/SHE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
