CONSTRUCTION OF AIRCRAFT PARKING APRON

General Notice

Quincy-Gadsden Airport Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

CONSTRUCTION OF AIRCRAFT PARKING APRON

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Quincy Municipal Airport located at 1300 Airport Drive, Quincy, FL 32353, until Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed proposals are to be mailed to the address of P.O. Box 1905, Quincy, FL 32353-1905 prior to the bid opening date and time.

The Project includes the following Work:

This project consists of construction a new apron at Quincy Municipal Airport. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to:

Clearing and grubbing Installation of full-depth pavement

Earthwork Stormwater pipe/structure installation

Sodding Pavement Markings

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Construction of Aircraft Parking Apron

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained by requesting digital copies by e-mail sent to connor.chambliss@kimley-horn.com. Bid documents will be made available starting Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. local time.

Bidders are urged to e-mail the e-mail address above to register as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The plan holders will be updated periodically with addenda, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through e-mail to the registered plan holders. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. local time at Quincy Municipal Airport at 1300 Airport Drive, Quincy, FL 32353. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

Deadline for Contractor Questions

Any questions are to be submitted via email connor.chambliss@kimley-horn.com no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. local time. Answers to questions received before the deadline will be released via addendum.
