Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board Meeting and Public Meetings for the adoption of the MPOs
1. Adoption of the new FY 2025/2026 to FY 2029/2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a federally required document that all Metropolitan Planning Organizations develop annually and represents the transportation improvements that have been programmed for the five-year period. This TIP includes the Federal Transit Administrations (FTA) Program of Projects (POP) for Sections 5307, 5310, 5311 and 5339 Funding awarded to Charlotte County. The development of the TIP satisfies the federal public participation requirements for the POP;
The Public is invited to attend in person. Public comment may be provided at the meeting or in advance via email or postal address below. Should you wish to participate in the meeting remotely, please contact staff at

The documents will be available for public review for one week before the MPO Board Meeting/Public Meeting. Copies of the document will be available at all Public Library locations throughout Charlotte County and the MPO website www.ccpgmpo.gov
Comments can be made by contacting the MPO at the address or using the comment box on the website. The public review period will remain open for comments until the May 19, 2025 MPO Board Meeting/Public Meeting.
No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of these meetings. Accordingly, anyone seeking to appeal any decisions involving the matters herein will be responsible for making a verbatim record of the meeting/testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be based. The MPOs planning process is conducted in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes.
