The Charlotte County Community Development Department, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of

the Countys intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located in the Babcock Ranch Community between Hercules Grade Road and Saw Palmetto Parkway. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised along Trout Creek/Curry Lake Canal from a point just upstream of Saw Palmetto Parkway to approximately 1.6 miles upstream of Bluebird Trail.

As a result of the revision, the floodway will widen and narrow the 1-percent-annual-chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain will widen and narrow within the area of revision.
