The City of Groveland seeks an experienced, qualified firm to contract design-build services for a grant project through the CDBG-CV Program. Per the grant program, the City of Groveland will use CDBG-CV funds to reconstruct roads, sidewalks, and walkways along Lake Avenue and Cherry Street. This project will also include stormwater improvements along S. Lake Avenue. This will help facilitate social distancing in support of the Citys efforts to safely re-open public parks and other open spaces in accordance with CDC guidance.
The awarded proposer shall be responsible for the design-build of the CDBG-CV grant program. The awarded consultant will be required to interact with the City of Grovelands Grant and Project Manager.
A copy of the grant agreement between the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the City of Groveland may be requested for reference.
Proposals for Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus Response (CDBG-CV) design-build Services for the City of Groveland shall be submitted electronically through the City's e-procurement portal, OpenGov. Bidders shall create a FREE account with OpenGov Procurement by signing up at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/groveland. The proposal due date is August 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
The City of Groveland Procurement Department actively posts Invitations to Bid (ITB), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), and informal and formal quotes via an electronic platform known as OpenGov Procurement. All submissions to a solicitation must be conducted through our page; hard copies of submissions will not be accepted. All solicitation closings are at 2:00 p.m. on the date stated in the solicitation timeline. The system will not accept late submissions. Bid openings are electronic, and bid results are published as soon as the solicitation closes, generally within 24-48 hours.
