CITY OF WESTONREQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTERESTTO PURCHASE PORTION OF TOWN CENTER PARK IN WESTON, FLORIDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Weston, Florida (the “CITY”) will be accepting Letters of Interest to Purchase a Portion of Town Center Park (the “Park”).  The CITY owns the Park located at 1900 Bell Tower Lane. The Park may no longer serve the public purpose for which it was originally intended and therefore the CITY is seeking offers for the beneficial reuse, redevelopment, or transfer of all or of a portion of the Park through a public solicitation process. All letters of interest should contain a term sheet setting forth all material business terms offered by the proposer, including the purchase price. The CITY is seeking a one-time payment of the full purchase price, rather than a payment over time. The sale of a Portion of Town Center Park is being conducted in accordance with Section 32.09, “Real Property Acquisition and Conveyance,” of the City Code. The Park is being sold “as is” pursuant to the terms of a standard commercial contract to be prepared by the CITY’s legal counsel, which will not be subject to a financing contingency.
