Childers Construction Company, The Construction Manager, state license number CGC45514, invites your firm to submit proposals for the above referenced project.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents will be available on August 11, 2025 at the Childers Construction Company FTP site listed below. In order to access the Contract Documents (Plans, Specifications and Supplements) the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be submitted to Mindee Hurst at mindee@childers-construction.com, for all new bidders only. Previous bidders do not have to submit another NDA as the previous is still on file.

NDA is located on FTP site at www.childers-construction.com under the Subcontractor Tab on the Childers Home Page, with the following information:

Account: CAPITOLAINDA (case sensitive)

Password: CAMERA (case sensitive)

After the NDA is submitted, the subcontractor will receive a document with an account and password to an FTP site with the Contract Documents.

It is the responsibility of the bidders and vendors to inquire concerning additional Supplements and Addendums that are normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on Childers FTP site.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Capitol Building. Please meet at the Childers Capitol location, 108 E Jefferson St, STE E, Tallahassee, FL.

GENERAL PREQUALIFICATION Bidders must be prequalified by the Construction Manager to bid the project. All bidders must prequalify for the current 2025 year and must submit the form in this bid package. Confirm your status with Mindee Hurst. Prequalifications must be submitted a minimum of 7 days prior to bid.

BID SECURITY There is 5% security required to bid this project for EVERY Bid Package.

BONDING All bids exceeding $100,000 shall provide Performance & Payment Bonds.

SEALED BIDS will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM Thursday, September 25, 2025. Bidders are advised to hand deliver bids or send by US mail, FEDEX or UPS to 108 E Jefferson Street, Suite E, Tallahassee FL, 32301 and must be confirmed by the bidder by calling our office 850-491-1385. Childers acknowledges NO responsibility for faxed, electronic or second party delivered bids. Emailed bids should be sent to bids@childers-construction.com. All bids results listed on "Bid Tabulations" are unofficial until scope reviews are conducted after the bid date.
