10/5/25 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public hearing regarding the State Road (S.R.) 60 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from Prairie Lake Road to Floridas Turnpike on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 (virtual) and Wednesday, October 15, 2025 (in-person), starting at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this study is to address future travel demand and improve safety by evaluating options for widening S.R. 60. Come in person at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo, Longhorn Center, 3200 River Ranch Boulevard, River Ranch, FL 33867 on Wednesday, October 15. A map of the hearing location is below. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The presentation will begin promptly at 6 p.m., followed by a formal public comment period.
