10/14/2025 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CDP) 2050 EAR - BASED AMENDMENT CITY OF MAITLAND, FLORIDA The City Council of the City of Maitland, Florida, proposes to adopt an ordinance to amend the 2035 CDP, including the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Series to establish the 2050 CDP, including FLUM series. The ordinance is entitled: ORDINANCE NO. 1444 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MAITLAND, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE MAITLAND COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2035 (CDP) PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES, CHAPTER 163; PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION OF THE CITY OF MAITLAND 2050 CDP, AMENDING ELEMENTS, TABLES, MAPS, EXHIBITS AND FIGURES CONTAINED WITHIN THE CDP; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT WITH THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE A public hearing on the ordinance will be held by the City Council of the City of Maitland, Florida, on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible in the Maitland City Hall Council Chambers, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751. The purpose of the public hearing is to take public comment, both written and oral, and to consider adoption of the ordinance to amend the 2035 City of Maitland (CDP), in accordance with F.S. 163, Part II., pursuant to the Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR)-Based CDP and to establish the 2050 City of Maitland CDP. Amendments to the CDP include modifications to and updates of the Future Land Use Maps Series, within the area shown on the map in this advertisement. (Insert Map) A complete copy of the ordinance and proposed 2050 CDP, may be inspected by any interested person, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M., in the Community Development Department, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751. Interested parties may attend the public hearing to be heard by the City Council or may submit written comments at or before the public hearing to the attention of the Community Development Department of the City of Maitland, Florida.
