11/09/2025 The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a project open house on Tuesday, August 5, about two projects along State Road (S.R). 434 in the City of Longwood. One project will enhance safety and operations at Ronald Reagan Boulevard (County Road 427), while the second project will make improvements at three intersections on S.R. 434 between Rangeline Road and U.S. 17-92. Proposed works includes adding and improving turn lanes, and upgrading pedestrian and traffic signals. The open house will be held in person on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Longwood Community Building at 200 West Warren Ave., Longwood, FL 32750. To provide additional flexibility, the FDOT is also offering online opportunities to participate: Join an online webinar at 5:30 p.m. to watch a project presentation and submit written questions or comments using the webinar questions box.
