PROJECT: Pine Ridge High Upgrade Kitchen and Dining HVAC, Ceilings, and Lighting

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is proudly the Construction Manager serving Volusia County Schools and is soliciting proposals from prequalified subcontractors for the construction of the Kitchen and Dining HVAC, Ceiling, and Lighting Upgrades at Pine Ridge High School.

The project consists of an upgrade to the HVAC, Ceilings, and Lighting in the existing 14,585 SF kitchen and dining areas. The work includes: concrete, sealants, fireproofing, doors, hardware, acoustical ceilings, epoxy flooring, resilient rubber base, painting, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting & Walkthrough is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Pine Ridge High School, located at 926 Howland Blvd, Deltona, FL 32738. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend; however, attendance is not mandatory.

Bids will be received at the office of Wharton-Smith, Inc., located at 750 Monroe Road, Sanford, FL 32771 no later than the date and time prescribed above. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed to comest@whartonsmith.com. Bids received after the appointed date and time will be subject to rejection. Bids will only be accepted from Prequalified Firms utilizing the required Form of Proposal included in the Bid Package.

The RFI deadline is January 7, 2026. Please submit RFIs to comest@whartonsmith.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project.

Payment & Performance Bonds may be required.

All bidding subcontractors shall adhere to having all onsite personnel registered with a valid JLA Badge, per Florida Statues 1012.32, 1012.465, 1012.467 & 1012.468. All costs for new employee badging & renewals will be the sole responsibility of the bidding subcontractor.
