Notice is hereby given that the City of Cocoa Florida will accept bids in the form of one (1) unbound original and one (1) USB drive at the office of the Purchasing Manager for the City of Cocoa, located at 65 Stone St., Cocoa, Florida 32922, until 3:00pm, February 6, 2026 and will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter 3:00pm that same day, at Cocoa City Hall, in the 3rd floor conference room.

The City of Cocoa is soliciting for a contractor to perform complete demolition and replacement of the existing Carbon Dioxide CO2 System at the Dyal Water Treatment Plant. This project also includes demolition and removal of the existing Fluoride storage tank facilities.
There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid conference held for this project on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at the City of Cocoa Dyal Water Treatment Plant located at 28400 SR 520, Christmas, Florida, 32709.
All services performed shall be in accordance with the specifications in the solicitation, which may be examined at the office of the Purchasing Manager, located at 65 Stone St., Cocoa, Florida 32922. The solicitation documents are available on-line at no charge via the City of Cocoa online bidding platform, http://www.myvendorlink.com, and posted as public notice on the Citys website. email:purchasing@cocoafl.org. Small Business Set Asides (i.e. Woman Owned, Minority, Veteran, Disadvantaged etc.) are encouraged to submit bid/proposals concerning this solicitation.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award proposals to the highest rated responsive and responsible bidder. One or more of the City Council members may be present at the bid/proposal opening.
The City of Cocoa supports local contractors and offers a five (5%) percent preference given to Brevard County contractors whose physical business address is within the physical boundaries of Brevard County and such location is evidenced by the local business tax receipt issued for at least six (6) months prior to the date the bid is submitted. P.O. Boxes shall not be considered a physical business address.
