REVISED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGThe City of Deltona, Florida will hold public hearings on the following:ORDINANCE NO. 36-2025 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DELTONA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 110-814, ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS FOR CERTAIN PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES AND STRUCTURES, OF CHAPTER 110, ZONING, AND CHAPTER 74, ADMINISTRATION, OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE UPDATING PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS RELATED TO CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES IN COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Public hearings will be held as follows: Planning and Zoning Board December 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. City Commission (First Reading) January 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. City Commission (Adoption Hearing February 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 2345 Providence Boulevard, Deltona, Florida. All interested parties are invited to provide their comments, views and objections to the Deltona Planning and Zoning Board and/or City Commission as part of the Public Hearing. The failure of a person to appear during said public hearing and to object either in person or in writing to said case may severely restrict the ability of such a person to contest it at a later date. The associated paperwork may be inspected by the public at the Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd., Deltona, Florida, Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. For further information, contact the City Clerks Office at (386) 878-8500. The date, time and place of any continuance of the above scheduled public hearing will be announced at said public hearing and no further notice regarding said continuance is required to be published. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Deltona City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The City does not provide this verbatim record.
