CITY OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida, that the City Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Hall of Altamonte Springs, 225 Newburyport Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida, on January 6, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the adoption of Ordinance No. 1838-26 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA, MODIFYING CITY PLAN 2030, THE ALTAMONTE SPRINGS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY UPDATING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) TO UPDATE TABLE 8.1, 2024-2025 FIVE (5) YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, TO 2025-2026 FIVE (5) YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TO ADJUST THE PLANNING HORIZON TO COVER FISCAL YEARS 2026 THROUGH 2030 RATHER THAN 2025 THROUGH 2029; BY UPDATING THE TIMING AND FUNDING OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS SET FORTH IN THE TABLE; AND BY AUTHORIZING THE UPDATED TABLE 8.1 TO BE PUBLISHED IN CHAPTER 8, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ELEMENT OF CITY PLAN 2030; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR BUSINESS IMPACT ESTIMATE EXEMPTION, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. The hearing on such ordinance may be continued from time to time until final action is taken by the City Commission. If anyone decides to appeal any decision on this ordinance, the person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, is made.
