Legal AdThis is notification that the St. Johns River Water Management District (District) has received the Individual Consumptive Use Permit (CUP) permit application(s) listed below: City of Winter Park, 401 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789-4386 Consumptive Use Permit application #7624-7, received October 10, 2025. The applicant proposes the use of 14.24 million gallons per day (mgd) of groundwater from the Lower Floridan aquifer for public supply use. The withdrawals used by this project will consist of Groundwater from FAS - Lower Floridan aquifer via 8 active wells in Orange and Seminole Counties, located in Section 2, Township 22 South, Range 29 East; Sections 3 and 6, Township 22 South, Range 30 East; and Section 33, Township 21 South, Range 30 East. This project is known as City of Winter Park.The file(s) containing the permit application(s) are available at www.sjrwmd.com/permitting and then click on Regulatory Permit Search. The District issues two types of Individual consumptive use permits (CUPs) staff-issued CUPs and Governing Board-issued CUPs. Decisions on Individual CUP application(s) will be made at either a District service center (if staff issued) or at Districts Governing Board meeting where permit applications that have not been delegated to District staff will be acted upon. The Governing Board normally meets on the second Tuesday of the month. Objections, comments, questions, or information regarding an application for an Individual CUP must be made in writing and received by the Office Director, Office of Records and Regulatory Support, P.O. Box 1429, Palatka, FL 32178-1429, or by e-mail at applicationsupport@sjrwmd. com, as soon as possible after the notification of the application receipt. The Permit Application Number or the Project Name should be included in the objection. If the District receives a timely substantial objection, the objector will receive written notice of the Districts decision (or intended decision) on the permit application. A Notice of Decision (or Notice of Intended District Decision) will be provided to persons who timely requested individual notice. A request for individual notice must be received by the Office Director, Office of Records and Regulatory Support, prior to the date of the Notice of Decision (or Notice of Intended District Decisions) is generated.
