1/11/2026 Orange County invites the community to LPA & BCC hearings regarding the University Boulevard Pedestrian/ Cyclist Safety Study. Orange County is evaluating concepts to address the safety and needs of the pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users along the study corridor, while observing the current efficiency of the 1.25-mile roadway segment of University Boulevard, from Semoran Boulevard to Goldenrod Road. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update of the completed study activities to date, and to present the Recommended Improvement Concept to the public for review and comment. The LPA hearing will be held on August 21, 2025. The BCC hearing will be held on August 26, 2025. Both hearings will be held at the Orange County Commission Chambers (201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801). The LPA hearing will begin at 9 a.m. and the BCC at 2 p.m., or shortly thereafter. The public will have opportunities to ask questions and provide comments after presentations.
