PROJECT: Osceola County Jail CEP Phase 2
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is proudly the Construction Manager serving Osceola County Government and is soliciting proposals from prequalified subcontractors for the construction of the Osceola County Jail CEP Phase 2 project.
The project consists of two buildings and one structure on the perimeter of the existing campus grossing a combined 10,207 square feet. The work includes: Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Miscellaneous Metals, Casework, Roofing, Waterproofing & Caulking, Doors & Hardware, Overhead Doors, Glass & Glazing, Louvers, Drywall, Acoustical, Tile, Flooring, Painting & Floor Sealer, Specialties, Canopies, Appliances, PEMB, Storage Solutions, Window Treatments, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Low Voltage Systems, Sitework, Paving & Utilities, Landscape, and Fencing.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting & Walkthrough is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the proposed jobsite outside the Osceola County Jail, located at 400 Simpson Road, Kissimmee, FL 34744. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend; however, attendance is not mandatory.
Bids will be received at the office of Wharton-Smith, Inc., located at 750 Monroe Road, Sanford, FL 32771 no later than the date and time prescribed above. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed to comest@whartonsmith.com. Bids received after the appointed date and time will be subject to rejection. Bids will only be accepted from Prequalified Firms utilizing the required Form of Proposal included in the Bid Package.
The RFI deadline is February 2, 2026. Please submit RFIs to comest@whartonsmith.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project.
Local Subcontractors & Suppliers are encouraged to participate.
Payment & Performance Bonds may be required.
