1/29/2026 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: NOTICE IS GIVEN by the City of Casselberry, Florida, that the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider adoption of the following ordinance: ORDINANCE 26-1628 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 86, UTILITIES, ARTICLE II, SEWERS, AND ARTICLE III, WATER, TO ESTABLISH NEW SEWER, WATER, AND RECLAIMED WATER FEES AND CHARGES FOR ALL RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL SEWER, WATER, AND RECLAIMED WATER SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY; PROVIDING FOR ANNUAL ADJUSTMENT OF RATES; CHANGING REFERENCES FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENT WHERE APPLICABLE; AMENDING ANNEXATION REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE WATER AND SEWER SERVICE OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS; MODIFYING PROVISIONS RELATED TO DEPOSIT REFUNDS; ELIMINATING THE 60 DAY EFFECTIVE DATE FOR ADJUSMENTS FOR THE BASE SEWER VARIABLE RATE FLOW CHARGE; UPDATING PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE INSTALLATION, USE, AND PAYMENT FOR PUBLIC FIRE HYDRANTS; AMENDING REGULATIONS RELATED TO WATER IRRIGATION USE RESTRICTIONS AND EMERGENCY RESTRICTIONS ON WATER USE; MAKING ADDITIONAL HOUSEKEEPING AMENDMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. This notice is pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 166, Florida Statutes, and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, as amended and supplemented. The City Commission will consider adoption of Ordinance 26-1628 on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. At the meeting, interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. This hearing may be continued from time to time until final action is taken by the City Commission.
