NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given by the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals that said Board will hold a public hearing starting at 7:00 PM on February 12, 2026, via Zoom. The Board will consider a proposed revision to the Broward County Uniform Building Permit Application, Related to the Owners Authorization for Contractor to use a Private Provider for Building Code Inspections and Plan Review Service, Under the Provisions of Florida Statute 553.791(2)(a), specifically, the addition of certification for contractors that they have obtained the required written authorization from the fee owner to use a private provider for building code inspections and plan review services, on second reading.

The effective date for the amendment is March 16, 2026.
