NOTICE OF INTENT TO DISPOSE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY AND OPEN A

INVITATION TO NEGOTIATE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF

OCALA

In accordance with s.163.380 F.S., the City of Ocala hereby gives notice of its intent to dispose of public properties within the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) and invites submission of proposals from qualified respondents. The proposed project will be located on the property identified by Parcel ID Number 2260-110-026 and 2260-110-023. The City, through this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN), seeks proposals from interested and qualified developers, builders, partnerships and/or agencies interested in constructing a mixed-use development on this parcel to include any combination of the following preferred mixed uses: residential (required), retail, restaurant, office, or cultural.

All pertinent information will be made available to persons interested in submitting proposals for acquiring and redeveloping any of the properties. All information concerning this notice can be found in ITN# GRM/220445, available at www.bidocala.com.

All proposals shall be submitted electronically in accordance with ITN# GRM/220445 at www.bidocala.com hosted by ProRFx. Paper submissions will not be accepted. Please be aware bidders must be pre-registered with ProRFx before submitting a bid.

Proposals are due by 8:00 AM on March 19, 2026. The City of Ocala reserve the right to reject all proposals and to re-notice the property or to take any other action deemed to be in the best interests of the City and the Downtown CRA as provided for by statute.
