Notice is hereby given that the Audit Selection Committee of the Town of Indian River Shores, Florida (Town), is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms of Independent Certified Public Accountants for:

Independent Auditing Services

The Town is seeking proposals to audit the financial statements of the Town for a period of three (3) fiscal years, commencing with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, with an option for two (2) one-year renewals.

This solicitation is issued for the selection of an independent certified public accountant to perform the annual financial audit required by section 218.39, Florida Statutes. Auditor selection shall be conducted in accordance with section 218.391, Florida Statutes, and the applicable Rules of the Auditor General governing audits of local governmental entities.

Proposals must include all forms specified in the RFP document.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; to waive minor irregularities or technicalities in any proposal; to request clarifications; and to cancel or postpone this solicitation by addendum at any time.

All questions or requests for information must be submitted in writing via email to purchasing@indianrivershores.gov no later than 2:00 PM on May 15, 2026. Oral inquiries will not receive a response. Oral interpretations are not binding. Only written addenda issued by the Town will be authoritative.

All submittals must be received by the Town of Indian River Shores at Town Hall, 6001 Highway A1A, Indian River Shores, Florida 32963, by 2:00 PM on June 5, 2026. Electronic, faxed, or late proposals will not be accepted.

At the date and time specified above, the Town will publicly announce the names of firms submitting proposals at Indian River Shores Town Hall, located at 6001 Highway A1A, Indian River Shores, Florida 32963. Technical proposals will be forwarded to the Audit Selection Committee for evaluation. Sealed fee proposals shall remain unopened unless and until considered in accordance with the solicitation documents and applicable law.
