A Public Hearing will be held by the Municipal Planning Board, City of Orlando, on TUESDAY, May 19, 2026 @ 9:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter, in City Council Chambers, 400 S. Orange Ave. This meeting will also be available for viewing at the following link: https://orlando-gov.zoom.us/j/95054325064. The following items will be considered: 1) United Against Poverty Approximately 2.5 acres located at 2880 Illiana Ct. Master Plan to develop United Against Poverty campus for a 37,000 sq. ft. public benefit use containing a grocery store, education, and crisis facilities (Case #MPL2026-10020). 2) Roberto Clemente Affordable Apartments Approximately 1.4 acres located at 5750 Roberto Clemente Rd. A) Conditional Use Permit to allow the apartment building to exceed 35 ft. in height (will be 53 ft. tall) and to allow a pair of mid-rise wall signs within 1000-ft. of R-1 and R-2 zoned uses; and B) Master Plan for a 60-unit senior living apartment facility with a 64-space surface parking lot. The request comes with an affordable housing bonus to allow a maximum density of 43 dwelling units per acre (du/ac). (Case #CUP2026-10005 and #MPL2026-10019). 3) Calvary Assembly Apartments Approximately 5.8 acres located at 1955 Minnesota Ave. A) Amendment to Growth Management Plan Subarea Policy S.2.5 to increase residential units from 532 to 882; and B) Master Plan for a 350-unit apartment complex in a 55 ft. tall building, with an internal 490-space parking garage and 11 surface parking spaces (Case #GMP2026-10004 and #MPL2026-10008). 4) Millenia Boulevard Auto Sales Approximately 6.4 acres located at 4825 Millenia Blvd. Master Plan to allow a 40,000 sq. ft. auto sales and service use, to be in a 26 ft. tall building, with a 370-space surface customer/employee & inventory parking lot (Case #MPL2026-10013). Copies of the proposed amendments are available for public inspection Mon.-Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Economic Development Dept., City Planning Division, 6th Floor, Orlando City Hall, 400 S.
