NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF

PROPOSED RESOLUTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida, that the City Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Hall of Altamonte Springs, 225 Newburyport Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida, on June 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, to consider the adoption of Resolution 1480:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO UTILIZE A PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE WEBSITE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF LEGALLY REQUIRED ADVERTISEMENTS AND PUBLIC NOTICES PURSUANT TO SECTION 50.0311, FLORIDA STATUTES; DESIGNATING THE COLUMN WEBSITE THAT PUBLISHES THE SEMINOLE COUNTY NOTICES AS THE CITYS OFFICIAL PLATFORM FOR ONLINE PUBLIC NOTICE AND LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT PUBLICATION; PROVIDING FOR THE REQUIRED ANNUAL NOTICE TO RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS REGARDING OPTIONAL MAIL OR E-MAIL DELIVERY OF ALL PUBLIC NOTICES AND LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO MAINTAIN A REGISTRY OF REQUESTING PROPERTY OWNERS AND RESIDENTS; REQUIRING THE CITY TO PROVIDE CONSPICUOUS WEBSITE LINKS TO ALL ONLINE PUBLIC NOTICES AND LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed resolution. The hearing on such resolution may be continued from time to time until final action is taken by the City Commission. If anyone decides to appeal any decision on this resolution, the person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, is made. The City of Altamonte Springs does not provide this verbatim record.
