NOTICE OF SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the School Board of Orange County, Florida will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Room, first floor, at the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center, located at 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, Florida 32801.

The purpose of this Special Meeting is the continuation of debate from the May 12, 2026 School Board meeting on the resolution ordering and providing for the holding of a referendum election at the November 3, 2026 General Election. The referendum will ask the electors of the School District of Orange County, Florida, whether to authorize the School Board to continue the one (1) mill ad valorem tax for a period of four (4) years to support essential operating expenses, including the preservation of academic programs, compensation for teachers and support staff, and the protection of arts, athletics, and student activities.
