NOTICE OF 30-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING

FOR ONE YEAR ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (PY 2026-2027) ONE YEAR (DRAFT)

To ALL INTERESTED RESIDENTS AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS: The City of Deltona is publishing this draft to the 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan (AAP) and Prior Program Years Amendment for the

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has proposed to allocate $544,044 to the City of Deltona for the Community

Development Block Grant Program for Program Year (PY) 2026 which covers the period, October 1, 2026

through September 30, 2027. The AAP identifies proposed projects and or activities to be undertaken with

CDBG funds for the coming year which will serve to benefit low to moderate income persons. Listed below are the proposed projects and activities estimated to be implemented in the coming year.

The Public Comment period will be from June 8, 2026 to July 7, 2026 to obtain citizen input on the Public

Service allocations. Comments can be submitted on-line, via email, or in person on June 16, 2026, and June 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at Deltona City Hall located at 2345 Providence Blvd Deltona FL 32725. A final Public Hearing on CDBG 2026-2027 allocations will be held on August 3, 2026, during the regular session of the City Commission

Meeting in the commission chambers beginning at 6:30 pm.

A DRAFT of the 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan document including all projects and activities to be performed is available for review in the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 2345 Providence Boulevard,

from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm., Monday thru Friday, except holidays (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY). Citizens are encouraged to review and make comments about the anticipated use of funds during the 30-day comment period beginning June 8, 2026 and ending July 7, 2026. Public comments on the PY

2026-2027 Annual Action Plan can be submitted in writing no later than 4 PM on, July 7, 2026 to:
