INDIAN RIVER FARMS WATER CONTROL DISTRICT

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Sealed bids will be received by the Indian River Farms Water Control District until 2:00 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time on August 1st, 2026, when they will be opened and read by the Secretary of the District or his representative, in the offices of the District, 7305 4th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, for the provision of liability, workers compensation, automobile, personal property, umbrella liability coverage for supervisors and officers, and other insurance coverage. The specific types and amounts of coverage required may be obtained from the office of the District, 7305 4th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32968, Phone 772-562-2141, or by mail addressed to the District at the aforesaid address.

All bids shall be submitted in duplicate. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Indian River Farms Water Control District, 7305 4th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32968, and shall bear the name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words Insurance Bid. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the aforementioned address.

The District reserves the right to delay awarding of the contracts for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will serve the best interest of the District.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof.
