PUBLIC COMMENT REVIEW PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING
DRAFT 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP)
NOTICE is given that the City of St. Clouds program year (PY) 2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP) or the use of Federal U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) funds will be available for a 30-day public review and comment period and a public hearing.
The 2026 AAP is part of the 2024 2028 Consolidated Plan, which sets five-year priority needs and goals for the Citys Community Development Block (CDBG) entitlement program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The PY 2026 AAP outlines proposed projects and activities by the Citys CDBG program to address the identified priority needs and goals in the Consolidated Plan. It was announced by HUD that in PY 2026, St. Cloud will receive $333,578 in CDBG funds.
HUD funds are intended to benefit low-to-moderate-income persons in St. Cloud.
The City will reallocate $219,237.00 of unused prior year CDBG funding, these funds will be reprogrammed for Public Facilities & Infrastructure projects
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: All interested citizens are encouraged to participate. The draft AAP will be available to the public for review from July 13, 2026, through August 12, 2026, at the St. Cloud Procurement Department, 1300 9th Street, Bldg. A, St. Cloud FL 34769 or downloaded from the Citys website at: https://www.stcloudfl.gov/2015/Community-Development-Block-Grant.
Written comments on the Substantial Amendment may be submitted using the address above or emailed to the Community Development Block Grants Manager, Juliana Wilson at juliana.wilson@stcloudfl.gov
PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing will be held on July 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Cannery Park Conference Room to gather public input for the Annual Action Plan. The Cannery Park Conference Room is located in 901 Virginia Ave, St. Cloud FL 34769. All interested citizens are encouraged to participate.
