PUBLIC COMMENT REVIEW PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN AMENDMENT

NOTICE is given that the City of St. Clouds Citizen Participation Plan Amendment will be available for a 30-day public review and comment period and a public hearing.

The proposed amendments are intended to update and improve the Citizen Participation Plan by removing outdated information, updating contact information, clarifying procedures, and ensuring consistency with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations found in 24 CFR 91.105. These revisions are administrative in nature and are intended to streamline the City's public participation process while maintaining compliance with HUD requirements.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: All interested citizens are encouraged to participate. The draft Citizen Participation Plan Amendment will be available to the public for review from July 21, 2026, through August 20, 2026, at the St. Cloud Procurement Department, 1300 9th Street, Bldg. A, St. Cloud FL 34769 or downloaded from the Citys website at: https://www.stcloudfl.gov/2015/Community-Development-Block-Grant.

Written comments on the Citizen Participation Plan Amendment may be submitted using the address above or emailed to the Community Development Block Grants Manager, Juliana Wilson at juliana.wilson@stcloudfl.gov

PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing will be held on August 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM during City Council to gather public input for the amendment to the citizen participation plan. City Council meetings are held at City Hall in the council chambers, 1300 9th Street, Building A, 3rd Level, St. Cloud, FL 34769. City Council meetings can also be viewed live via the Citys website at www.stcloud.org/webcasts. All interested citizens are encouraged to participate.
