PUBLIC NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Rays Baseball Club, LLC d/b/a the Tampa Bay Rays, in cooperation
with the City of Tampa, Florida and Hillsborough County,
Florida, gives public notice of the issuance of a Request for
Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk services for the
Tampa Bay Rays New Ballpark Project in Tampa, Florida. The
Project is expected to include a new approximately 28,000-seat
enclosed, fixed-roof, climate-controlled ballpark located within a
mixed-use development. The anticipated total project budget for
the Ballpark is approximately $2.3 billion.
The RFQ is being conducted in cooperation with the City and
County and is intended to promote transparency, open competition,
and qualifications-based selection. All RFQ documents,
addenda, questions and answers, submission instructions,
deadlines, and related procurement information will be made
available at the following website:www.raysbaseball.com/
CMARRFQ, which will serve as the official document repository
for this RFQ.
Statements of Qualifications must be submitted to cmarrfq@
raysbaseball.com in the manner and by the deadline stated
in the RFQ. Following review of timely received Statements
of Qualifications, interviews of selected firms and the public
selection meeting will be conducted in accordance with
applicable law and on the schedule set forth in the RFQ or any
subsequently issued notice. Questions must be submitted only
in writing via email tocmarrfq@raysbaseball.com, and no oral
interpretation or unauthorized communication will modify the
RFQ.
Statements of Qualifications may be subject to Chapter 119,
Florida Statutes. Firms should separately identify any trade
secret or statutorily exempt material and provide any redacted
copy required by the RFQ. Responses will be reviewed through
a structured selection process, with input from representatives
of the Rays, the City, and Hillsborough County, and the Rays
reserve the rights stated in the RFQ, including the right to reject
any and all Statements of Qualifications, cancel or modify the
RFQ, and proceed in the best interests of the Project.
