ORLANDO GIFTED ACADEMY REPLACEMENT PROJECT

CONTRACT NO. RFQ 2412CM

Pirtle Construction, the Construction Manager for Orange County Public Schools, Orlando Gifted Academy Replacement Project, Project No. RFQ 2412CM is soliciting bids from qualified subcontractors and vendors. An Outreach/Pre-Bid Site Visit Meeting is scheduled at the project site on August 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM. A prequalification package is available to interested subcontractors and vendors upon request at preconstruction@pirtleconstruction.com. The project is at 1121 N. Fern Creek Avenue, Orlando, FL, 32803. The scope of this project includes the construction of a new +/- 120,000-square-foot school on a 9-acre site with new concrete tilt-wall/steel construction for 811 student stations. The project is targeting a Three-Green Globes sustainability certification level. This 2nd- to 8th-grade school is a new school design. The building will be a two-story design that includes Administration, Academic spaces, ESE classrooms, Multipurpose, Kitchen, an Innovative Media Center, Laboratories, Performing Arts, Resource Rooms, Youth Lot, Multi-purpose Field, Basketball Courts, Covered Play, Covered Outdoor Classroom, Outdoor Gardens, Covered Outdoor Dining, Greenhouse, and 1 Covered Art Patio. All bidders must submit their bids via email to preconstruction@pirtleconstruction.com by 5:00 PM on or before August 20, 2026.
