NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on August 25, 2026, at 2 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. You are invited to attend and be heard regarding the following request by:

Applicant: John Townsend, McIntosh Associates an LJA Company, Orlando International Hotel Planned Development (PD), Case # CDR-26-03-057

Consideration: A PD substantial change to amend the Master Signage Plan to add signage and to request the following waivers from Orange County Code: 1. A waiver from Orange County Code Section 31.5-163(a)(2) to allow 306.99 sq ft of copy in lieu of 168 sq ft allowed per code for Building B3. 2. A waiver from Orange County Code Section 31.5-168(b) to allow 2 wall signs per elevation in lieu of 1 allowed per code for Building B3. 3. A waiver from Orange County Code Section 31.5-163(a)(2) to allow 1,233.19 sq ft of copy in lieu of 150 sq ft per code for Building D2. 4. A waiver from Orange County Code Section 31.5-168(b) to allow 4 wall signs per elevation in lieu of 1 per code for Building D2; pursuant to Orange County Code, Chapter 38, Article VIII, Division 1, Section 38-1207
