BID TITLE: Fairways Townhomes Water Service Line Improvements

THE CITY OF SUNRISE, FLORIDA (hereinafter "the City") will electronically receive, open, and publicly read aloud bids at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, via demandstar.com at City Hall, First Floor, 10770 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Sunrise, Florida 33351. A description of the Project is as follows:

Scope of Work: Project work includes, furnishing and installing new potable water piping, valves, and fire hydrants; connecting to existing potable water piping; abandoning existing potable water piping; and all ancillaries associated with completion of this work. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for the proper handling and disposal of any existing Asbestos Cement Piping (ACP) being demolished and/or connected to.

Location: Work is located at 2811 NW 80th Avenue Sunrise FL 33322

Qualification Requirement: Refer to Bid documents.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held at CITY HALL - 1ST FLOOR, 10770 W OAKLAND PARK BLVD, SUNRISE, FL ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2026 AT 11:00 A.M. Following the Pre-Bid Conference, a Site Visit will be made. Contractors are responsible for bringing any required sub-contractors to this Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and site visit. This site visit conducted by the City will be the only time Contractors will be granted access to the site.
