ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Maitland will receive sealed bids until September 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. for Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials ITB. A mandatory Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for August 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the City of Maitland, Council Chambers located at 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751.

The City of Maitland is seeking qualified, licensed and insured contractors to provide Residential Collection Services, Multifamily Collection Services, and Commercial Collection Services within the City. Prior to the closing date, bids will ONLY be received through the DemandStar/Euna OpenBids website at www.demandstar.com. All bids shall be labeled with the Bidders name and project title, Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials ITB. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted. Bids will be immediately opened and read aloud after

the bid due date and time.

All work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with City of Maitland standards. Bids shall be submitted for providing select materials, equipment, labor and supervision through completion of the included Bid Form and required documentation.

Bidders are required to show that their organization has been in formal existence and engaged in similar type work for not less than five (5) years. Bidders shall be properly licensed to do business in the State of Florida.
