The Orange County Board of County Commissioners will conduct public hearings on September 15, 2026, at 2 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. You are invited to attend and be heard regarding a request by:

Applicant: Nishad Khan of Nishad Law P.L. on behalf of Congregation of Yahweh Inc, and Kelly Lavilette

Consideration: Resolution granting Petition to Vacate # 26-04-012, vacating a portion of a 14-foot-wide unopened, unimproved and unnamed alleyway, that lies between the applicant's properties located within the Sphaler's Addition to Taft Prosper Colony Subdivision, containing approximately 4,199.90 square feet.

Consideration: Resolution granting Petition to Vacate # 26-03-006, vacating portion of a 16-foot-wide unopened, unimproved and unnamed alleyway, that lies along the east property line of their commercial property located within the Orange Center Subdivision, containing approximately 3,200.00 square feet.

Applicant: Giles and Cherie Ashe

Consideration: Resolution granting Petition to Vacate # 26-03-007, vacating a portion of a 30-foot-wide unopened and unimproved right-of-way, known as Hidden Trail Road, that lies along the east property line of a residential property within the Orlando-Kissimmee Farms Subdivision, containing approximately 0.427 acres.

Location: District 4; The parcel address is 6960 New Hope Road; S34/T24/R30; Orange County, Florida (legal property description on file)

This petition to vacate is complete and has been reviewed and investigated by appropriate County staff. The County Mayor, acting on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners pursuant to Resolution No. 91-M-62, has considered this petition and finds it acceptable for consideration at a public hearing.
