NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING(S)

The City Commission of the City of Kissimmee, Florida will meet on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 101 Church Street, Kissimmee, Florida, to hear the FIRST READING and on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. to hear the SECOND AND FINAL READING and consider the passage of the proposed ordinance as set forth below. All interested parties may appear and be heard on the above dates.

PROPOSED ORDINANCE #26-21

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA CODE OF ORDINANCES TITLES; AMENDING 14-3-1; AMENDING 14-3-16, TABLE 3-1 TO DESIGNATE THE CITY COMMISSION AS A REVIEWING AUTHORITY FOR CONDITIONAL USES; AMENDING SECTION 14-3-29 TO ADD PROVISIONS FOR SITE PLAN WAIVERS, DESIGNATING THE CITY COMMISSION AS THE APPROVAL BOARD FOR CONDITIONAL USES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

In accordance with Florida Statutes 286.0105, any person wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes may need to ensure that verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is made.
