NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on September 15, 2026, at 2 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. You are invited to attend and be heard regarding the following proposed ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE OF ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA PERTAINING TO PROCUREMENT; AMENDING CHAPTER 2 (ADMINISTRATION), ARTICLE X (LOBBYING ACTIVITIES) OF THE ORANGE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO RELOCATE CERTAIN ITEMS TO CHAPTER 17 (FINANCE), ARTICLE III (PROCUREMENT) AND MAKE NECESSARY CORRESPONDING CHANGES; AMENDING CHAPTER 17 (FINANCE), ARTICLE III (PROCUREMENT) OF THE ORANGE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE UPDATES FOR USE OF ELECTRONIC PROCUREMENT SYSTEM, REVISIONS TO DEFINITIONS, TYPES OF SOLICITATIONS, COMPETITIVE EXEMPTIONS, SUSPENSIONS AND DEBARMENT, THE PROTEST PROCESS AND IMPLEMENTING REQUIREMENT FOR A PROTEST BOND; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
